Coffee House Ep 15

OMG this episode made my heart bleed so much for the EunSoo ship but gosh, how i admire their love for each other too…

If before EunYoung was the one shielding JinSoo from the hurt and pain of his past life and she was the one who propelled him forward to get over that pain through writing, it seems as if the tables have now turned and it is JinSoo’s turn to urge her to move forward from the sacrifices she’s made for him in the past by pushing her towards a better life with JinWon…

The moment that this episode started, i’m glad that i have learnt my lesson and didn’t get swayed as much with the uprising of the other EunSoo shippers about the SeungYeon-JinSoo kissing scene…

I mean, how could people think that he’d easily get over EunYoung with only a peck?

Furthermore, how could him not stopping her be so much of an issue when it was obvious that the reason why he did not do so was because the girl was dead drunk and is obviously relying on liquid courage that’s why there’s no sense in doing so? (It was not even a kiss… heck! I can’t even compare the Seung Yeon-JinSoo kiss to the train kiss that he shared with EunYoung where they have so much passion for each other that they find it even difficult to breathe… The kind of kiss that adult, matured individuals who are ready to get into a serious relationship share… )

Seung Yeon was wayyyyy cute in this episode with her teasing JinSoo and calling him names, but i’d like to really shake her and tell her to get over this schoolgirl crush that she has on JinSoo because it is obvious that his heart is with someone else…

I know that the pretend relationship is really not helping her any in getting over her infatuation with him but i guess there lies the difference between being a pro and an amateur once again because a pro would know that the relationship was a job that she agreed to do and would know where reality and pretend stops and starts while an amateur would have a hard time separating the two…

Seungyeon, just a word of advise: If a guy pushes himself to fit the idea of your ideal guy and comes back for you, that’s LOVE! The real and lasting kind… And i wish that Seung Yeon would see how Dong Wook has that for her so that she can spare herself from the heartbreak of seeing JinSoo go off into the sunset with the girl he loves…

To me, all of JinSoo’s gesture in this episode does not show an inkling of falling in love with Seung yeon… yes, he’s amused and showing some signs of growing a little soft on her but still, i see just an oppa-dongseng vibe from JinSoo rather than a romantic one…

My heart felt as if it would shatter into a million pieces when JinSoo went on with the radio interview in the beginning, put on a normal, happy face but then looked as if he was a lost soul while gripping his phone walking along the hallways of the station after EunYoung has texted him…

That scene in EunYoung’s apartment was also a revelation… The moment that he walked into her apartment it was as if he was savoring all traces of her in it and drinking her in through the home she lives in…

We all know how insecure JinSoo is and how he hides it behind the seeming control that he puts on things and people around him and i guess seeing EunYoung with her wedding plans and with Jinwon’s parents hit him where it hurts the most…

It made him realize the things that he could never give her, the things that she won’t get to enjoy if she was with him and it made me love him more that he’s doing the ultimate sacrifice by staying away so that her life would finally be at peace and so that she can ejoy all these things… (I think it’s also a way of not adding more burden to EY’s life by not making her waver too and therefore have problems by making her choose between JinWon and him…)

There are only two words that EunYoung said to him in the bathroom but to me it was loaded with unspoken words and the things that she couldn’t tell him now… I’m sorry you had to see this, I’m Sorry i had to hurt you… I’m sorry that i couldn’t wait for you..

I also love the moment of camaraderie that they shared in that bathroom when they were once again ganging up on JinWon because of the ring… It’s sooo much more sad to see them still have that moment of understanding and fun despite the heartbreak they’re going through…

Another symbolism that caught my eye was when JinSoo was reluctant to give the ring back to JinWon as if he was reluctant to give Eunyoung away but can’t do anything about it…

Gosh! the look on his face when he made JinWon promise to be good to her… It was so sincere that it almost made me cry…

I think JinWon also knows how much these two love each other and that fear of them finally being true to their feelings is the reason why he’s shoving JinSoo’s relationship with Seung Yeon into other peoples faces…

It is as if the more people that know about it, the lesser the chances are of him and EunYoung separating because JinSoo’s taken… The more he says it and see them together, the more real their relationship becomes to him and he does this as a way of quieting his fears about the future of his relationship with EunYoung..

But now that the secret is out in the open, it’s a whole different ballgame…

I think the realization will gnaw at JinWon and there will not be a moment of peace that he’d have until JinSoo tells him officially that he’s backing out of the competition or until EunYoung and him are officially married…

I think JinWon would have a longggggggggg wait before that happens… (Like forever i hope… hahaha!)
