Cinderellas Sister Eps 3-4

First off, let me just give a Shoutout… PMEKMKSMKNFJNUNJGNNJDNSJ!

That is precisely how i feel about Cinderella’s Sister

In all my years of kdrama viewing and of all the dramas that i have watched in my life (and that must be in the hundreds), I have never watched a series that is as superbly done as this one…

I am running out of words to describe how much i love this series! I love the voiceovers, Eunjo’s imagination that adds such a fairytale feel to the whole thing, the sound scoring, the metaphoric dialogues and most of all i love the acting! I don’t know if i am so emotionally invested in this show that even the simplest things bring tears to my eyes or maybe it’s because of the way that you really feel the exact feelings that the main leads are trying to portray by just their facial expressions… and that song by Yesung… dammit! It just puts my heart in a vise whenever i hear it…

Kihoon, Eunjo and Hyosun are all needy and hungry for something although in different ways… (by the way can i just say that i love how brilliant that dialogue sounded?) when Ki Hoon just came back from his fathers and he told Eun Jo how he’s starving? which is a metaphor for the hunger that they feel for the acceptance and love of a parent that they feel has never been given them…

As early as now, i adore Ki Hoon already for trying so hard for Eun Jo and heaven knows that after all the crap that that child got while growing up, she absolutely deserves a man like him who would truly give his all for her… Who else here went aww when he started studying Spanish for her just because she wanted to learn it from him?I DID!

and what about Eun Jo’s little jealous fit? SOOOO CUTE!

I was smiling as widely as Ki Hoon by the time she was done… hehehe!

Episode 3 definitely had me onboard the Eun Jo-Ki Hoon train but oh, how my heart aches for Hyo Sun… the bubbliness and cheerfulness is her foil for everything that’s missing in her life… For the love of a mother and a sister whom she can absolutely relate to… Not that Hyo Sun is lacking from any love from her father but seeing how her father has an awkwardness about him that makes it hard for him to express himself, i can totally relate to Hyo Sun’s happiness when she finally had the presence of women in her life but it’s sad that one is scheming and using that need for her own selfish measures and the other just couldn’t care less….

I love how they’ve shown her claws at the end of this episode… Lord knows that she’s trying so hard and sincerely to get Eun Jo to like her but just like any human being everyone has their limits and i can’t say i’d blame Hyo Sun for hating Eun Jo after all that she’s done to push her away but as a viewer, i really can’t hate either one of them because i understand where they’re both coming from…

How funny is that catfight? LOL

I almost believed Hyo Sun when she said she’d hate Eun Jo forever but then her sincerity showed when she saw her bleeding… hahaha! So much for hating her….

And poor Dong Su! A witness to that scene… hahaha! I LMAO when he ran away and then Eun Jo was shouting at him for them to go out… wahahaha! I can only imagine what he’s thinking…

I just wish Eun Jo could also be a little more giving towards Hyo Sun because she seems to be really trying… even if she was hurt about that incident with Dong Su, she still feels concern for her like when her father was hitting her and she was pleading with him and when she gave her socks… I just wish that would have had soften her a little…

However for Hyo Sun, Ki Hoon’s affection for Eun Jo would have been the last straw so i really can’t say i can blame her for her action…

The only thing that i can’t understand in these episodes is how Ki Hoon does not seem to be concerned at all about Hyo Sun’s status in her family knowing that the same thing happened to him… that of his father marrying another woman and in turn, him losing everything he’s got… I understand his affinity with Eun Jo because of this but i was just thinking that that thought might have cross his mind too because of the situation…

And finally we have the timejump! I can’t wait what happens next!

I love the contrast in Hyo Sun’s character now… that’s what i was talking about… she’s now more subdued, more closed… and i love how pretty Seo Woo is in that last frame… Eun Jo talking a lot takes some getting used to but i love how she’s become a sophisticated, corporate woman… I miss MGY’s long locks though…

And let the angst begin…

And since we’re on the topic of Seo Woo… I also love how she looks for the film THE HOUSEMAID… i love how she can portray different roles and how she can be different according to the character she plays…
