Pasta Episode 2

Niceeeeeeeeee….

This series is keeping its pace and i am liking it… I have spent almost half of the show smiling that my cheeks hurt so much from it…

Lee Seon Gyun is a certified @sshole in this series but he is charming the socks off me… oh yes, he is… I love how he’s straight and no nonsense and how he does not take any kind of crap from anyone no matter if that person is a girl…

I now know who they’ve patterned his character after and if you are all familiar with him, i guess it is Gordon Ramsay from Hell’s Kitchen but it’s just that LSG is the more charming version… hehehe!

I guess this is where the magic of Hyun Wook’s character lies… he can be totally bad@ss once he’s inside the kitchen but the first episode showed us a glimpse of how he can play up the charm if he only sets his mind to it and i love how he can be both hot and cold at the same time…

So far i am sooo feeling the chemistry between his character and that of Yoo Kyung and i am sure that the fireworks would erupt once their characters finally do get together…

I love how Yoo Kyung is not a pushover but also not the cliched kdrama heroine who shouts and bickers to get her point across… I love her tenacity and how she gives Hyun Wook as good as she got even if at times it’s very obvious that he scares the cr@p out of her…

I mean who wouldn’t? The shouting… Omona… the shouting! I would be dreading coming to work if my boss is anything like Hyun Wook… I’d rather be jobless… thank you very much!

But most of all like in any other drama that excites me, i love how the sexual chemistry lies dormant between the leads and is only evident in the barbed exchanges that they have disguised as the witty exchange of their lines… (Gong Hyo Jin’s character not so much but Lee Seon Gyun’s attacks should be insulting but it turns me on to no end… yessiree…)

This scene by the locker seem to be so simple but it is the exchange of words that made this scene even more extra special than it seems… (I was smiling like a loony the entire time this is being played)…

A little light was shed also on Hyun Wook’s intense displeasure for women working in his kitchen and of course, it is mostly because of his experience with his ex gf aka Honey Lee…

I know that it was totally a b@stardly move when Hyun Wook celebrated his success for but OMONAAAAAAAAAA… i just want to kiss him here…

He’s so childishly immature that it’s endearing… hehehe!

As for all Alex Lovers… he is just in his element in this episode… He’s charming and fun and i love how his character is not presented to be boring and stiff…

He has some moves in this episode that seemed to come from his patented Alex guidebook to Womens hearts… and it still works its magic everytime… That play with Honey Lee by her car where he leaned over from outside her open car window for her to turn on her heater was just plain smooth! I would have swooned if i were in her shoes…

(I can somehow imagine if he did this in We Got Married and Crown J will be once again teasing him to no end for being Mr. Romantic)

There is also an F3 in this series that came in the persona of the new cooks that Hyun Wook replaced the female chefs with… Seriously, can anyone really cook in that outfit?

But they add in to the fun, so they’re a welcome addition to the cast…

The cook off at the end of this episode was not supposed to be spazz inducing but i find myself giddy at the bet that Yoo Kyung and Hyun Wook entered into… somehow, i would want her to let him eat his words and to show him some version of girl power…

Of course the end was so thrilling with Hyun Wook facing off with the woman he swore to hate (HL’s character) and i am feeling the love vibes coming already from Alex to GHJ’s character that i am sure everything will collide to be one delicious kdrama love square mess in no time… hehehe!

I am so excited with this series that i scanned through some recaps from dramabeans site and i got even more excited than i already am… seems like the love story will figure very much in the story and as early as episode 7 there are just some intense scenes that the lead characters would already go through… All i can say is i can’t wait to get there and if i don’t just have work tomorrow… i’d probably be there by tomorrow…

As the tag line says: A Pasta In Love… and all i can say with two episodes… I am already halfway there…
