Flames of Desire Ep 4

See this expression?

It’s the expression of me cowering in fear of this force to be reckoned with called Yoon Na Young…

Seriously now, which beeyatch school did this woman go to to be this tough?Watching this drama, i feel as if i am watching the backstory of dozens of other Kdrama moms who become villains as they stifle their child with their brand of mothering while paving the way for a future that they want them to have rather than what they decide to become all for the sake of keeping appearances and retaining their hold on the power that they can get through them….

Are all chaebol moms really this intimidating?

No wonder girls like Geum Jandi have it tough…

The lengths that Na Young would go through just to get to the top knows no boundaries… It doesn’t matter what she has to do or if she has to step on anyone as long as she gets there in the process…

Young Min is really no match against her bullying presence… I think he cowers in fear everytime he just so much as looks at him and who can blame him?

The guy after all prefers to keep to his music and his books and himself and i bet in his sheltered life, he’s had no experience yet encountering somebody like Na Young…

I think in the end, he is just caught between a rock and a hard place because if he also ended up with In Sook and not her, then his situation would not have been any different other than the fact that he’d be cleaned out of his assets in no time before he even knows what has happened (At least Na Young does it blatantly…
But seriously now, there’s no accounting for the way Young Min chooses his women…

On a side note, i totally cracked up when In Sook started speaking in that broken chinese sounding english complete with cursing…

SHEET! GIB ME BAK MY MAH-NEY! MY MAH-NEY!

Seriously now? And you want me to believe this girl has lived in New York for 12 years? )

At this point, the love and devotion that Na Young is pouring into Young Min is scary…

I don’t know if she is that way towards the child because she wants to use him as a pawn to fulfill her wishes but deep inside myself i believe that she really loves him in her own kind of mothering, albeit in a sick, suffocating way… (I was literally sitting with mouth agape as she literally took her husbands child with another woman and passed it off as her own!

This woman can literally weave lies the way that the Princess weaved textile for Rumplestiltskin!)

If that was the kind of childhood he had, no wonder Min Jae fights for In Ki tooth and nail because it seems as if that is the only choice in his life that he would be making which will not be according to the will of his mother but his own…

Speaking of whom, the similarity between Na Young and her real child In Ki is spot on…

It’s as if she was reborn in another persons body and it makes me more excited to see their face off and how the revelation would happen in the future about their real relationship once these two women begin their Psy war over Min Jae…

(That expression of fear on Jung Sook’s face when she made that realization was spot on! Dang it! I would be wetting myself in fear too seeing how there will be two of her in this world!)

I have a feeling it would be a showdown of all showdowns and i can’t wait!

Once again, i did not expect to be as absorbed in this drama the way that i now am but I am…

I guess, it just has a way of drawing people in that gets your interest piqued and by the time you start on it, you long for the next episodes to come until you realize that you have caved in and that you are now a makjang convert just like the way i now am…
